Sunny days, salt water and soft sand. It’s the trio of summer goodness that floods our social media streams and steers the direction of our weekends, our holidays and even our life dreams. Particularly when they have anything to do with Bali.

So what happens when you throw a super yacht, some snorkelling and a cluster of Indonesian islands into the mix? You get Pulau Luxury Charters, quite possibly the most glamorous way to explore the surrounds of Bali.

You may know the Palau Group for their gorgeous Middle Eastern vegetarian nook in Kerobokan, Café Cous Cous. Or perhaps you know of their collection of digs including Pulau Boutique Villas in UmalasVilla Padi Karo in Seseh and Villa Bidadari in Kerobokan. Oh yes, these guys have got the hospitality thing down pat. Come to think of it, you could craft an entire holiday around the Pulau Group and it certainly wouldn’t be lacking in diversity or excellence.

But for now, we’ll put their land feats to the side so we can take a closer look at their sea fleet. With so many Bali frequenters keen to navigate their way beyond South Bali, it just feels like the right thing to do.

The Pulau Luxury Charters collection

Whether you’re looking for a quick day trip or full week at sea, lounging low-key or playing sophistication for a big event, there’s a charter to suit. Here are our pick of the lot, but you can contact Pulau to see the full collection.

The Pulau Luxury Charters activities

Day Cruising

From the 8am collection at your villa or hotel to the 4pm return to the harbour, a day at sea with Pulau is nothing short of a Mediterranean travel brochure. Complimentary drinks, tropical fruits and ambient music will see you through a day of stand up paddle boarding and floating on the Pulau inflatable pontoon. Cruising around the famously picturesque islands of Lembongan, Penida and / or Ceningan, you may even spot a pod of dolphins or opt to go jetskiing, banana boat riding, wakeboarding, waterskiing, or kayaking to round off your day.

Fishing

Take to the seas of southern Bali and Nusa Penida in search of Tuna, Blue Marlin, Mackerel, and many other species of deepwater game fish. With all rods, tackle, snorkelling gear, snacks included and the option to include lunch, this is a seriously hassle free boat affair.

Serious fishermen will be happy to hear you can even go trolling, bottom fishing or jigging, popping and live bait fishing. If you’re getting dragged along without interest in partaking, the views of the cliffs around the Bukit and Nusa Penida will be enough to make your day a hit. Opt in for a quick sprint four hour trip or take a more ideal cruise for 6-8 hours.

Surfing

Surfing in Bali Indonesia

Surfing charters – the best way to get the best breaks.

Forget weaving through traffic only to find yourself battling a long paddle out to sit on the same point as a hoard of other surfers. The team at Pulau has acquired a wealth of knowledge on the best breaks, wind conditions, tides and seasons, and they know a thing or two about finding the best waves irrespective of conditions.

Diving

Diving in Bali

Dive time onboard a Pulau Boat

You can’t really comprehend the full beauty of Indonesia until you’ve witnessed it from beneath the sea. Dramatic cliffs and a technicolour array of sea life await, unaffected by the development and modernisation above the land. Pulau offers a professional PADI program for the inexperienced, or can take the old-timers straight to the deep reefs.

Events

Pulau has the expertise and capacity to cater to events of up to 120 people, making a wedding, party or special event at sea completely within reach. They also help take care of all the fine details such as flowers, photographers, on-board chefs and more. From a hens party with beauticians and massage therapists to a specially crafted honeymoon, you’re only limited by your imagination.
