Loading...Experience the mighty Garuda with the sounds of Electronic Dance Music, as Dreamfields Festival is fast approaching the sunny party shores of Bali.
On Saturday August 16 on the Bukit Peninsula at the southern end of Bali, the beautiful and tranquil environs of GWK Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park will host the extravagant dance music event. Big name acts, international favourites as well as local heroes will entertain ‘dreamers’ into the starry evening, spending magical moments dancing among grand statues and sublime limestone pillars, wowed by the parks picturesque views. Blackrock Entertainment, the organisers of the festival, described the event with its new surrounds, as a “perfect, ambient and mesmerising location for party-goers.”

The brand spanking new EDM festival in Indonesia also marks the first time the Dreamfields fest has gone international. The Dutch creation held its 4th edition of the festival in the Netherlands this past June. The event will be the first of its kind to be held in GWK’s natural playground and ideal surrounds, gracing the island of Bali during the holiday weekend celebrations of Indonesia’s Independence Day.
The dance festival line-up boasts a selection of the top 100 DJ’s in the world. Star-studded acts include Dutch DJ’s and Producers, Dash Berlin, Ummet Ozcan, Jochen Miller, Sidney Samson, Wildstylez, Dubvision and Mightyfools, amongst an impressive list of international and newly announced local acts such as LA Riots, Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet, Goldfish & Blink, Nakadia and Indonesia’s EDM party gal DJ Yasmin with other notable performers.
With a long list of acts set to entertain into the early hours, a series of state-of-the-art jaw-dropping stages, lounge areas, food gardens and refuel stops will be set-up throughout the parks surrounds for the ultimate festival experience. Here’s what party-goers can look forward to:
Mighty Garuda Stage
World class DJ’s entertaining the mass sea of revellers on the main-stage.
White Rock Castle Stage
White Rock Castle celebrates the deeper thriving electronic dance music in its mysterious and hypnotic settings. Undiscovered tunes and fresh sounds can be heard here.
Buddha 2 Buddha Lounge Area
Time to lounge back and relax, give those dancing feet some rest and replenish your inner-self at the soothing and relaxing area of the Buddha 2 Buddha hideaway.
Carnivale Food Garden
The Carnivale Garden is a relaxing picnic style area where patrons can enjoy an array of drinks and snacks on offer.
Cashless Voucher System
For on-site purchases a cashless payment system has been set-up at the event, where vouchers can be bought at specially marked cashiers and exchanged for beverages and food.
V.I.P Packages
For the full VIP treatment, special tickets and packages are still available, which include access to VIP stage decks, beverages, finger-food and table service.
7 Days of Pre & After Parties
Dreamfields has also partnered up with Sky Garden to present 7 Days of Parties, from August 11 – 17. The latest package deal gives you access to Dreamfields pre-parties and after-party, as well as the main event – Dreamfields Bali.
